Jan. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. climbed to a two-month high in Tokyo trading on a newspaper report Japan’s second-largest maker of heavy machinery will enter the rechargeable-battery business. The company said it’s considering the venture.
